Mindaugas Butvila

Architect

Mindaugas Butvila is an experienced architect. Growing up, Mindaugas could always be found drawing, sculpting, and modelling plasticine, influenced by his creative family. Inspired by his sister's design studies and his artistic environment, he decided to pursue a degree in architecture.

His memories of studying architecture are filled with fun events and long hours of intense but passionate work in the Department of Architecture.

After graduating, Mindaugas co-founded his own architecture studio, and later started "200m2," an educational workshop for children and young people. His creative activities span architecture and collaborative partnerships, driven by the desire to evoke emotions and well-being through his architectural designs.

As a lecturer at the Department of Architecture, Mindaugas believes architecture students should possess a fascination with the creative process, teamwork, and experimentation. He emphasizes the importance of architects in shaping people's everyday experiences and emotions in living environments and public spaces.
